Stop Motion Studio
An app for making stop-motion films by photographing small movements one frame at a time.
Stop Motion Studio puts frame capture, editing, sound and export in one app. Onion-skin guides show the previous frame faintly behind the new one, and the editing controls let a filmmaker change timing or reorder pictures. A first film can be as small as a paper shape crossing a desk, with scenery, dialogue and titles added later.

Who it suits
Patience counts for more than age with frame-by-frame work. A grown-up can help with the first setup.
Notes for parents
Mobile and desktop versions exist, and their features aren’t identical. A camera that stays put and steady light make the process smoother.
