Art for Kids Hub
Step-by-step drawing videos in which a parent and child draw the same subject side by side.
Every Art for Kids Hub lesson shows a parent and child drawing together, one step at a time, and viewers can pause whenever they need longer. Subjects are grouped into animals, food, vehicles and seasonal themes, with separate painting and origami sections. Once a drawing is done, a new expression, background or extra character can turn it into the child’s own picture.

What kids do
- Draw an animal
- Give a piece of food a funny face
- Fold an origami project
- Add a background to a drawing
Who it suits
Lessons range in difficulty, so the subject a child picks says more about fit than age does. A child who already has a favourite animal or vehicle in mind has an easy starting point.
Notes for parents
Most lessons need only paper and something to draw with; the painting and origami ones call for paint or folding paper. Videos are on the website, on YouTube and on the publisher’s own viewing service.
