CBeebies Get Creative
Little ones paint, doodle, build with blocks, invent toys and make music alongside CBeebies characters.
CBeebies Get Creative collects a few open-ended making activities for very young children into one bright BBC app. There is painting and doodling with chunky brushes, a sticker box the listing puts at over a hundred, virtual blocks to stack, a toy-design corner and a music-making space. Familiar CBeebies faces turn up to encourage, which seems to help little ones settle in quickly. Nothing appears to be scored or ranked, so a toddler can scribble happily while an older preschooler builds something with more intent. Pictures can be saved to revisit or show off later. The overall feel is calm and uncluttered, and it looks most at home in the hands of under-fives who already know the channel’s characters.
