Reading
Storyline Online
Filmed readings of children’s books, with actors reading aloud while the illustrations appear on screen.
Storyline Online comes from the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, and each video pairs an actor’s reading with the book’s pictures. These are read-aloud videos rather than an audio-only library, which matters for books where the pictures carry part of the joke. Each book also has an educator-developed activity guide. Afterward, a child might retell the ending or talk about how a character’s feelings changed.
