Mekorama

Kids steer a tiny wobbly robot home through mechanical dioramas, then build levels of their own.

Mekorama takes place in tiny mechanical dioramas, each a little cube-shaped world floating on the screen. Kids help B, a small, wobbly robot, get home by tapping where it should walk and spinning the view to look for hidden routes. Along the way they turn gears, slide blocks, push buttons and ride moving platforms to open a path. The maker lists 50 handcrafted levels plus 25 featured levels from fans. For many children the builder looks like the real draw: they can put together their own dioramas block by block, and load levels made by other players by scanning a QR code on a level card. Kids who like tinkering with how things fit together may linger in the editor far longer than in the main game.
