Reading
Lit2Go
Kids listen to classic stories and poems as audiobooks while following the text on the page.
Lit2Go is a collection of classic children’s literature, stories and poems in audiobook form, made by the Florida Center for Instructional Technology at the University of South Florida. Each passage has an MP3 recording to play online or download, set beside the text and a matching PDF for reading along. Kids can browse by author, book, genre or collection, and every passage shows its playing time and word count, so choosing a short poem or a few longer chapters looks simple. Familiar titles and authors fill the shelves, from fairy tales and adventure novels to poetry. Hearing the words while seeing them on the page may help kids approach classics that would feel heavy alone. The layout feels more like a library catalog than a game, which seems to suit older, more independent readers.
