The Fable Cottage
The Fable Cottage retells well-known tales for language learners, with narration, optional parallel English text and videos for many stories.
Stories come in French, Spanish, Italian, German and English. Already knowing the plot lets a child concentrate on new words, and the slow, clear narration makes it easy to replay a phrase. A child who prefers characters and events to vocabulary lists might take to the format.
