Brick Car 2

Kids build cars, trucks and buses out of colorful bricks, then take them out to drive and race.

Brick Car 2 from Labo Lado has kids put a vehicle together brick by brick and then drive it. Template mode offers more than 140 classic designs – fire trucks, police cars, buses, tanks – to assemble step by step. The open building mode leaves the design up to the child, with choices of body shape, wheels, colors and add-ons. Finished vehicles roll into driving levels and mini-games for racing and jumping, where it becomes clear how a design handles. The loop of building something and playing with it right away looks satisfying, and it seems to tempt kids back to the garage to tweak a design after a race. The store listing marks it for ages six to eight, and it appears especially suited to young car fans who like to tinker.
