Thomas & Friends: Let’s Roll
Kids drive Thomas and friends across the Island of Sodor and lay out their own train tracks.
Thomas & Friends: Let’s Roll hands young train fans the controls on the Island of Sodor. They choose an engine and roll through five journeys, according to StoryToys: The Old Mine, Whiff’s Recycling Plant, Norramby Beach, McColl’s Farm and a snowy Winter Wonderland. Engines and friends from the show turn up along the line, Bruno the brake car among them. The Track Builder looks like the heart of it: kids lay out a railway, dress it with scenery and then send an engine off to test the route they made. Seasonal touches come and go, such as Halloween decorations for the builder. It plays a lot like a wooden train set with endless track, and should click with children who already line up toy engines across the floor.
