Sesame Street Games Club

Preschoolers appear to bake with Cookie Monster, climb a beanstalk with Elmo and tinker with the Mecha Builders.

Sesame Street Games Club gathers bite-sized games starring Elmo, Cookie Monster, Grover and the rest of the Street. Kids bake treats with Cookie Monster, scramble up a giant beanstalk with Elmo, color pictures in the Crayon Factory and join in musical games. The Mecha Builders, robot versions of Elmo, Cookie and Abby, appear to lead the science, simple coding and math corners, which run from counting one to ten through 2D shapes to launching a rocket. Jigsaw puzzles round out the menu, with seasonal sets such as Halloween scenes. Every game seems short and clearly voiced, so a preschooler could plausibly hop from one to the next unaided. For families already watching the show, the familiar voices are likely to be the main draw.
