My Town World
Kids roam a sprawling doll-house city of homes, shops and an airport, steering a crowd of characters into stories of their own.
My Town World stitches the My Town and My City games into one large doll-house map, if the developer’s description is any guide. It counts more than 200 locations, among them homes, a store, a hotel, a school, an airport and the beach, and over 100 characters along with pets and props. Kids can switch the weather, style hair and outfits, cook meals and shuffle people from one place to the next until a scene takes shape. There are no visible tasks or scores, which suggests a quick three-minute visit and a long afternoon saga could both fit. Small players may be content tapping everything to see what moves, while older ones in the 4 to 12 range seem likely to build family storylines that sprawl across the city.
