Monument Valley

Kids rotate and shift impossible buildings so a silent princess can walk paths that only line up from the right angle.

Monument Valley is an unhurried puzzle adventure built on optical illusions. Kids lead Ida, a silent princess in a white cone hat, through towers and temples that could never stand in real life. Rotating a section, sliding a staircase or cranking a handle lines up paths that look impossible until the view shifts and they suddenly join. Crow People pace the walkways, a friendly totem can be nudged into place as a bridge, and every chapter seems to add a fresh trick of perspective. There is no timer and no score, only soft music and pastel architecture. It looks well suited to a grown-up and child playing side by side, pointing out the next move together, and may appeal most to kids who enjoy calm play over action.
