Math
Khan Academy Math
Khan Academy’s main math site, with arithmetic laid out as a structured course.
The arithmetic course covers multiplication, division, place value, fractions, decimals and negative numbers in units a family can return to. Wider navigation reaches back to early review and forward to later school subjects. It is separate from the Khan Academy Kids app and works as an explicit sequence of topics rather than a character-based game. A notebook beside the screen is handy for working through examples.

Who it suits
Covers elementary arithmetic through advanced study. A child ready for a step-by-step subject sequence is probably a closer match than one still drawn to game-style apps.
Notes for parents
There is a fair amount of reading, which younger children may want a grown-up nearby for.
