Kahoot! Big Numbers by DragonBox

Kids gather and trade resources in the land of Noomia while getting to grips with place value and column addition and subtraction.

Big Numbers is the DragonBox sequel to Numbers, aimed at kids ready for tens, hundreds and thousands. In the land of Noomia, children harvest resources, then swap and combine them to help small creatures called Nooms build and grow. Each harvest doubles as a place-value puzzle, and over time the game seems to fold those actions into the column layout used for long addition and subtraction, carrying and borrowing included. The store listing mentions six worlds, ten resources to trade and four Noom houses to furnish, plus ongoing practice problems once the ideas settle. Play leans on pictures rather than text, and counting can be heard in several languages. It looks like a natural next step for a child who has outgrown counting games but is not yet comfortable with written columns.
