Fiete World
Kids sail, fly and drive with Fiete the sailor through places drawn from five countries, making up adventures as they go.
Fiete World is set up as an open play world around Fiete the sailor, his friends and his pets. A plane, helicopter, car or ship carries kids to places styled after Mexico, the USA, France, India and Germany. No route is laid out. The store listing describes dressing up as a Viking, pirate or pilot, hunting for treasure, riding an elephant or a dinosaur, feeding jungle animals, making tacos, baking a cake, planting vegetables, chopping wood for a campfire and delivering packages around town. Ahoiii says nearly every object can be picked up, which makes the whole thing feel like a roomy digital doll’s house. The country settings hint at how places differ and overlap, shown through play instead of lessons. It looks well matched to kids four and up who like to roam.
