Early learning

Budge World

Kids hop between more than 100 games, from ABCs and early math to coloring, cooking and dress-up with familiar characters.

Budge World pulls more than a hundred Budge Studios games into a single app for young kids. Judging by the game list, they practice the alphabet, spelling, shapes and early math, then switch over to coloring and painting, cooking and decorating treats, styling hair and nails, or dressing up characters. A separate baby and toddler corner offers simple touch-and-see play for one- and two-year-olds. Recognizable characters appear throughout, PAW Patrol, Barbie, Thomas & Friends and My Little Pony among them. Budge describes the activities as playable offline, which could make it a handy travel companion. With this much range in one place, siblings of different ages may each land on something, though a child who wants one deep game might lean toward a single-focus app.
