Math
Bedtime Math
A short daily story, factual or playful, followed by math questions for a family to talk through.
Each Bedtime Math entry opens with a brief story (recent topics have included songs, carrots and squid) and then offers questions at three levels. Siblings at different stages can work from the same theme. Answers sit below the questions, and the publisher invites families to try as many or as few levels as they like. The archive makes it possible to start from a topic a child already cares about.

What kids do
- Read the day’s math story
- Try questions at three levels
- Talk an answer through aloud
- Pick a topic from the archive
Who it suits
Bedtime Math describes the resource for ages 3–9, and its question levels deliberately aren’t tied to school grades.
Notes for parents
It is written for an adult to read aloud and lead, not for a child to work through alone. Fingers, objects or a quick sketch all work for showing an answer.
